Monthly Goals

Yesterday, I posted the goals I intend to reach this month for two challenges.  #writemotivation and #atozchallenge will prove to be difficult to do, but, I think I can handle them both.  As scattered as my thoughts can be, it will be an achievement to get both done on time.

On a more personal set of goals, I intend to do two posts per day and cut back further on the Facebook games.  I have WordPress set up on my phone so I can do a post from work if I want.  That just may be the best way to get the alphabet challenge done posting wise, but the visiting blogs will have to be done from home.  Easy enough to do if I don’t work late.

I’ll tell you one thing, this new challenge has already shown me several different new blogs, but only a couple which are here on WordPress.  most of the participants are on BlogSpot.  Speaking of which, trying to leave a comment on one, I went through Google+ and it signed me up for a BlogSpot account.  So, now I have an account which I don’t really want or need.  It’ll have to remain inactive until I either think of something or figure out how to delete it.

If anyone has an idea other than deleting it, tell me, please.

For this month’s writemotivation, I haven’t even started on any of them.  Mostly, it was the normal pay weekend errands; meaning grocery shopping, and having a nasty allergy attack strike which has my eyes swollen and itchy.  Ick!  Meds have been taken, so it is a waiting game before they take full effect.  Luckily, they don’t make me sleepy while they handle the allergens.

This beautiful account will be seeing some more tweaking as the month goes by so that it reflects more of my personality rather than the eye burning it was before.  The sidebars will be cleaned up and widgets better utilized.  I’m going to figure out how to set up a widget so I have a list of my monthly goals for each challenge listed for quick and easy reference by anyone.  I don’t know about any of you, but I forget which ones I have active and which ones are pending even though I can recall the projects.

A question for some of my new visitors and all my watchers: Do you know how to set up a cross-post to another blog from WordPress?  I have one other post I want to mirror these posts in but I cannot, for the life of me, figure out how to set up a cross-post without having to copy and past everything to the other blogs.

One last tidbit, I haven’t really used Twitter.  I barely understand what the hash tags are for and I don’t really know what to do with it except use it as another medium for WordPress to connect to and post links to my new blogs.  I want to promote my book, Black Friday, but I really need to know more about what I’m using to get it noticed.
